Orange Splash Cocktail – Courtesy of Southern Sophisticate

orange-splash-cocktail-xl  My friend Stacie has been a part of my life professionally and personally for many years.   No matter what creative venture I choose to throw at her, she has always been 100% supportive of my endeavors. It all started with her noticing my love for cooking and entertaining way back in 2006 and bringing me on board to her mastermind of Nashville Lifestyles and Murfreesboro Magazine publications and now many years later I am still writing for her uber-successful magazines.  I now have this blog that was born from that same love of cooking and  writing and it means the world to me that it has been given the “Stacie-seal-of-approval”.  Stacie continues to remain a dear friend, but also serves as my most trusted sounding board for my creative and professional ideas.  In the last year she also started her blog  Southern Sophisticate that embodies all things Nashville as well as travel, food, and fashion.  You can get a behind the scenes look into her life as Publisher of  Nashville Lifestyles and all the celebrity adventures that come along with it as well as great product tips and suggestions and even greater reviews of excellent places to travel.  She also has super yummy food and drink recipes as well.  Stacie is a lover of great cocktails and has lent me her Orange Splash recipe made with fresh oranges, Meyer lemons, Grey Goose Vodka, and Cointreau for what I find to be a very Thirsty Thursday today!!  Be sure to check out her blog Southern Sophisticate and follow her on Pinterest and also follow her on Twitter @StacieStandifer and don’t forget to have your Orange Splash in hand while doing it!
