I KNOW I have said many time before, but I LOVE red wine!! My love for this gorgeous vino surpasses time of day or time of year. Give me a good heavy Napa cab at 58 degrees and color this girl happy. HOWEVER…….I realize that not everyone shares the exact same love as I do, so when throwing a party I have to be sure to have a cold option either white or sparkling or in this case white AND sparkling!!! Sangria is always a good choice for a summer party, but can definitely be a winter option, too. Served in flutes with festive striped straws, this fruity cocktail will be a crowd pleaser for sure.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Chardonnay, unoaked (or Pinot Grigio)
- 1 bottle Brut Champagne
- 1 Granny Smith Apple, chopped
- 1 Red Delicious apple, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Striped paper straws
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients. Stir to combine. Serve ice cold in champagne flutes with paper straws.
