Janet’s Crockpot Chicken Dressing


  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups celery
  • 1 large skillet cornbread
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon sage
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs well beaten
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 ½ - 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, chopped (can use canned)


  1. Saute onion and celery in ½ stick margarine. Melt remaining margarine. Crumble cornbread and mix all ingredients, add chicken last.
  2. Cook in crock-pot on high for 45 minutes.
  3. Stir and cook on low for 4 hours.

      • Hey, Sonia! It calls for 3 cups cooked chopped chicken and you can cook the chicken yourself or use canned chicken.
