What could be better on a warm Spring day than a mimosa???? I took inspiration from the beautiful Giada for this sweet and sparkly thirst quencher!!
Garden fresh basil and deliciously ripe strawberries are combined with crisp Prosecco, local honey and San Pelligrino Limonata to create a zesty drink perfect for a weekend brunch.
Strawberry Basil Mimosa
One bottle Prosecco (750 ml)
1 cup San Pelligrino Limonata
1/2 cup local honey
3/4 cup fresh basil
8-10 fresh strawberries, sliced
Combine the honey and basil in a large glass pitcher. Muddling the basil and honey help to release the fresh flavor of the basil.
Pour the Limonata & Prosecco over the muddled basil and honey, add the sliced strawberries and strir to combine. Pour into champagne flutes and ENJOY!!!!!!
